Hon. Bisi Oluranti, popularly known as BOOM, the lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North Constituency C in the Oyo State House of Assembly, is seeking a second term on the platform of the Allied People’s Movement (APM), with her record of constituency interventions and legislative representation taking centre stage in her re-election bid.
Her tenure has featured initiatives across education, healthcare, community infrastructure and employment support, with these areas forming important parts of the conversation surrounding her ambition to continue representing the people of Ogbomoso North.
In the education sector, interventions associated with her representation include assistance with West African Examinations Council (WAEC) fees and the provision of learning materials to students across 16 secondary schools. Her constituency projects also include the construction of five classrooms and a staff room block at Anglican High School II, Sabo/Taara.
In healthcare, efforts have focused on supporting constituents in accessing the Oyo State Health Insurance Scheme. The BOOM Light-Up initiative has also introduced solar-powered streetlights to communities and markets across Ogbomoso North, contributing to improved illumination in public spaces.
Employment support has equally featured among the initiatives linked to her representation, with constituents receiving assistance in accessing opportunities across public institutions and government agencies.
These interventions have brought renewed attention to the role of effective representation in delivering practical benefits to the people. As a member of the APM, BOOM’s second-term ambition presents an opportunity to sustain existing initiatives, strengthen constituency engagement and pursue further development across Ogbomoso North.
