The Wolekanle Youth Vanguard has declared its support for its Coordinator, Hon. Adeolu Babatunde Emmanuel, who is contesting for the position of Councillor representing Ijeru Ward 6 in Ogbomoso South Local Government Area of Oyo State.
In a statement issued
the group, the Vanguard described Hon. Adeolu Babatunde Emmanuel as a committed youth leader with a record of service, unity, and concern for the development of his community.
The group said that, as its Coordinator, Hon. Adeolu Babatunde Emmanuel has demonstrated leadership capacity, integrity, and dedication to the welfare of young people and residents of Ijeru Ward 6.
According to the statement, his aspiration to serve as Councillor is driven
a desire to promote grassroots development, strengthen youth inclusion in governance, and ensure that the needs of the people are adequately represented at the local government level.
The Wolekanle Youth Vanguard expressed confidence in his capacity to provide responsive and people-focused representation. The group also noted that his candidacy presents an opportunity to advance community development, youth empowerment, support for women and traders, improved sanitation, and stronger engagement with residents.
The group therefore called on youths, elders, women, traders, and all eligible voters in Ijeru Ward 6 to support Hon. Adeolu Babatunde Emmanuel in his bid to become Councillor.
“We believe in his capacity to lead, serve, and speak for the people of Ijeru Ward 6. As our Coordinator and a committed community leader, he has our full support,” the statement read.
